Tourism British Columbia is Giving Away a Mountain

Tourism British Columbia is giving consumers a chance to win their very own mountain through the Great Mountain Giveaway contest.

The Great Mountain Giveaway contest will send one winner and group of 19 family and friends for the ultimate five day, four night VIP skiing experience at one of BC’s top mountain resorts. The winner will receive accommodation, lift tickets, rentals and return airfare for the whole group.

To enter the contest, log on to www.greatmountaingiveaway.com and choose from 13 of the top resorts in BC. The resorts to choose from include Kicking Horse, Whistler Blackcomb, Big White, Sun Peaks, Revelstoke Mountain Resort , Red Mountain Resort, Mount Washington, and Fernie Alpine Resort.

The contest generates excitement about BC's amazing ski resorts and includes a call to action encouraging visitors to take advantage of the many packages and special offers available this winter season.

2009 World Champion Ski Cross Racer and contest spokesperson Ashleigh McIvor knows a thing or two about skiing in BC: her childhood was spent earning her turns at Whistler, Host Mountain Resort for the Games. Says McIvor: "This is an amazing prize that showcases the huge diversity of terrain in my own backyard. It’s exciting for me to be able to invite people to come ski BC."
