The United Kingdom office of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts recently wrapped up a post-Olympics marketing campaign with one of the leading newspapers in the UK, the Telegraph. The Telegraph has a circulation of over 824,000 and a website audience of over 27.1 million worldwide, many of which are affluent travellers and represent a key target market. The print and online campaign started at the end of March and ran through April.
Building on the extensive coverage generated during the Winter Games throughout the UK, print ads were placed in the travel section of the Telegraph that featured the diverse array of experiences in British Columbia. Additional print ads were included throughout the newspaper driving potential visitors to a website where they can enter a contest to win a trip to British Columbia.

Hosting the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games was a tremendous time for British Columbia, and I am proud of the achievements of our province.
